Wardrobe Makeovers Start in Your Closet

          Wardrobe Makeovers
          Start in the Closet
As a Wardrobe Stylist, I know that most customers feel that they do not have a handle on what they have in they're closet, before even considering buying more!
As goes the saying,  "I have a closet full of clothes, and nothing to wear!"
Before Shopping with a client, I often suggest a Wardrobe Audit, where we purge, we  re-invent, we make new outfits out of already owned items just be combining pieces differently, and/or accessorizing differently.  When all is said and done, we have a clear idea of what is really needed on the next shopping trip to extend our current wardrobe.
This is the process that saves you time and money in the future-no more bringing home items that match nothing, or that are completely the wrong style for your body type, which means you won't like the way they look and they will not get worn=wasted space and money.
When Lehigh Valley STYLE Magazine asked to feature my business in their July 2012 Issue, I turned to my friend Karen, who has a very organized closet.  Once you know what you have, and where it is, getting dressed is no longer a chore!
Unless, like Karen, you have too many shoes to choose from!!
If you have a spare bedroom in your house- consider turning the space into a walk-in closet.  When you can see all of your wardrobe items, you will more likely wear them instead of items getting lost in the clutter.
