Winter Skin Tips: Just because the weather is getting ugly, doesn’t mean your skin has to! Just follow these tips for protecting your skin from indoor heat, and keep your complexion glowing!
-Change your skin routine to include a heavy duty moisturizer. Look for “ointments”, or night creams, which contain oil. The oil acts as a protective layer to retain more moisture. Look for non-clogging oils such as avocado, mineral, primrose, or almond oil.
-Continue wearing sunscreen. The winter sun plus snow glare will cause as much damage as summer sun.-Avoid peels, cleansing masks, and astringents or toners that contain alcohol, which will strip skin of moisture. Try gentle foaming cleansers, deep hydrating masks, and toners with no alcohol.
-Hydrate from the inside and drink plenty of water!!
