Trip-Packing Tips

Trip-Packing Tips:
  • Research-know the climate for the season, dress code or customs of the area, and check the facilities you're staying at for amenities
  • Make a list of planned activities and pack accordingly
  • Choose wisely-larger, heavier items like shoes and jackets should be chosen to go with more than one outfit
  • Neutrals-staple items should be neutral with some pops of color (use accessories to make more looks)
  • Pack-heaviest items on bottom, lighter items on top-avoid wrinkles by stuffing and layering clothing items with tissue and plastic (garbage bags, dry-cleaning plastic)
  • Roll and Stuff-small items such as underwear, sleepwear, scarves, t-shirts, camisoles. etc., can be rolled and stuffed into side spaces of the suitcase
  • Important documents should be readily available (passports)
